Our invaluable team member, Margarita Gonzales, joined the firm shortly after its founding and has played a great role in our growth and success ever since.
Born and raised in Monterey County, Ms. Gonzales is a graduate of California State University at Monterey Bay and Monterey College of Law, with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Communications and a Master's Degree in Legal Studies.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Margarita works closely with our firm’s clients and their families. She actively assists our attorneys by understanding their needs and concerns, facilitating communication, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support. In addition, Margarita assists Mr. Pernik and Mr. Soltesz in their case preparation and client interviews and acts as a point of contact between our office and the various county agencies, treatment programs, and courts.
Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Gonzales has clerked for both District Attorney and Public Defender Offices and worked at the Salinas Union High School District. She plans to continue her legal studies to obtain a Juris Doctorate degree.
