What Qualifies Kamal Law Firm, PLLC to Handle Your Legal Case?

Our founding attorney, Farah Kamal, is uniquely positioned to blend her experience as an immigrant with her impressive legal education, allowing her to better help clients. Born in Pakistan, she immigrated to the U.S. with her parents as a child, settling in Chicago. Shortly after college, she discovered a keen interest in legal matters and moved to Texas to study at South Texas College of Law. She has been proud to call this great state her home ever since.

As she studied law, she had the opportunity to work as an intern for the Honorable Judge Jeff Bohm of the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, as well as for the Honorable Judge Eva Guzman of the 14th Court of Appeals and current Texas Supreme Court judge. This experience gave her confidence in the courtroom early in her career.

In the years since then, Farah has earned several accreditations and memberships, including:

  • Certified Mediator
  • Advanced Mediation Certification in Family Law
  • S. District Court for the District of Texas
  • Fort Bend Bar Association
  • Fort Bend Family Bar Association
  • Association of Women Attorneys
  • American Immigration Lawyer Association
  • Muslim Bar Association of Houston (Board Member)

These experiences and affiliations – along with fluency in Spanish, Urdu, and Hindi – allow her to represent a wide range of clients throughout Texas. When you contact us, you can look forward to working with a skilled, communicative lawyer who will provide prompt, clear answers to your questions.
